1. Who is responsible for your information?

Quiz Time is operated by Noel Johnson Entertainment. For privacy questions or requests, email info@noeljohnson.co.za or contact us on +27 74 567 7443.

2. What information do we collect?

Quiz participation: team name, team size, captain name, cellphone number, answers and scores. Booking enquiries: whatever you choose to share with us via WhatsApp, phone or email when planning an event.

3. Why do we use it?

We use information to run live quizzes, register teams, accept and score answers, show results, respond to booking enquiries and improve the experience. Results and scores are also used for venue/host reporting and analytics on how quiz nights performed.

4. How long do we keep information?

Quiz session data (team names, contact details, answers, scores and results) is not automatically discarded when the quiz night ends — it’s retained for operational purposes (results, support, analytics and the host’s own event records) until it’s deleted in line with our account data retention practices. We don’t apply a fixed automatic deletion window to this data. The venue or host running your quiz can access their own event’s team/score data through their Quiz Time account; Noel Johnson Entertainment can access it as the platform operator. Booking enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to arrange your event. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see “Your rights” below.

5. Marketing contact

When joining a quiz you may optionally tick “Keep me posted about future quiz nights” to share your cellphone number for marketing purposes. This is entirely optional — you can join and play a quiz without ticking it. Only contacts who opt in this way are used or exported for marketing; if you don’t opt in, your number is used only to run the quiz you’re playing, never for marketing.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold information about you, request access, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion. Contact us using the details above.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no internet system is completely risk-free. Please contact us first if you have any concerns.
